The MBR-10 is specifically engineered for pilot studies where accurate scale-up data is critical. Common pilot testing applications include critical flux determination using the flux-step method, fouling rate characterization across seasonal temperature variations, chemical cleaning protocol optimization, sludge filterability assessment using time-to-filter (TTF) correlation, and evaluation of different MLSS concentrations on membrane performance. The 10 m² area is large enough to generate statistically meaningful long-term data (recommended minimum 3–6 month pilot duration) while keeping infrastructure and operating costs manageable.

Store in original packaging at 5–40 °C away from sunlight. The MBR-10's lightweight design (15 kg dry) allows single-person handling. Pre-wet membranes for 30 minutes before first use. Perform integrity testing before each pilot run. For storage between pilot campaigns, clean thoroughly and immerse in 0.5% sodium bisulfite, replacing every 30 days. The module can be shipped via standard courier services due to its compact size and weight.
